Blind(ed) Date
Unexpected twists in a genre-defying adult movie
Inspiré de Blind(ed) Date , une confession de Penelopesbox
What if horror and porn were always telling the same story?
Blind(ed) Date steps into that territory without flinching — borrowing the tones, archetypes and dread of scary movies and using them as the framework for something undeniably, explicitly hot. Fear and desire occupy the same body. Curiosity and dread arriving together, inseparable, exactly as they always have been.
This is a Pandora's box of fetish, social commentary and eroticism — exploring freedom, resistance and sacrifice in a world where power is rarely where you expect to find it. And asking, with genuine urgency, who actually can free themselves from the society we've built.
Unexpected. Provocative. Artsy in the way that only the most fearless adult filmmaking can be.
An adult movie like no other — and a film that will leave you questioning everything long after the screen goes dark.
Réalisation: Sally Fenaux Barleycorn
Performance: Sylvan Jane Jones
Wow! I’m so happy to have Sally Fenaux Barleycorn back with this genre-defying movie! Inspired by Jordan Peele’s Get Out, Sally manages to mix horror, eroticism and social commentary so expertly to keep you hooked until the very end and thinking once it's over. Plus, I couldn’t be more excited to see a film on XConfessions shot in La Paloma, an old ballroom in the middle of Barcelona city centre. I’ve had so many amazing times here, including the night that I met my partner, and I couldn’t be more excited to see it come to life in Sally’s film!
