The cinema used to show something else entirely.

In a former adult french theatre in Quartier Pigalle, now tastefully rebranded as an art et essai, the piano man plays live accompaniment to silent films twice a week. The audience is artsy. The atmosphere is refined. And the kinky ghosts of everything this place used to be absolutely refuse to leave him alone.

He can't stop thinking about her. The hipster in the third row. What it would be like to forget the music entirely and take her right here, in the dark, while the projector runs.

And then, as if the building itself decided to cooperate, something very different appears on screen.

A darkly playful, creative and thoroughly hot fantasy about desire, voyeurism and the particular electricity of a place that remembers exactly what it used to be — and hasn't entirely forgotten.
