Shot during the actual Porn Film Festival in October 2018, Volunteers Wanted gives us a never-seen-before look inside Europe's vibrant porn scene.
Inspiré de Volunteers Wanted , une confession de MerilynK
Berlin. October. The most important porn film festival in Europe. And Kali Sudhra is right in the middle of it.
Volunteers Wanted follows performer and sex worker Kali Sudhra as she arrives in Berlin for a weekend that is equal parts artistic exploration and raw, unfiltered human connection. Between power exchange shoots with Jiz Lee and Finn Peaks and nights lost in Berlin's legendary nightlife, something more intimate emerges, fleeting couples sharing stories, vulnerabilities, the particular difficulties of living and loving inside an industry the world still struggles to understand.
Shot during the actual Berlin Porn Film Festival in 2018, every performer plays themselves. Nothing is invented. Everything is real.
A genuine, deeply human portrait of a stigmatised yet fiercely cohesive community — filmmakers and performers who break through boundaries every single day just to create and be seen.
Provocative, artsy and completely unlike anything else in adult cinema.
Volunteers Wanted was shot during the Berlin Porn Film Festival 2018 and gives you insight into the vibrant community of sex workers in Europe. Most of the people you see in this film are friends and colleagues in real life which gives Volunteers Wanted a very immersive and authentic feeling. If you've always wondered what it's like going to a porn festival, follow Kali to Berlin and get invited to porn sets, movie screenings and very, very private encounters.
