A recently introduced Bill C-302, would add two offences to the Canadian Criminal Code regarding pornography.This new bill would not enhance existing measures to curb online sexual abuse. PornHub’s sister site XTube is closing down for good - XTube creators announced that the site will go dark on 5 September. Set up in 2006, XTube allowed people to upload their own videos. The announcement comes just weeks after 34 women filed a lawsuit against XTube and PornHub’s parent company MindGeek, accusing the company of profiting off their content without their consent.
