Adriana Eskenazi is a Barcelona-based photographer and visual artist. She works fluidly between fashion, advertising, music, and contemporary erotic imagery. She has been active in the industry since 2009, and in 2015, Adriana became a key creative presence at ERIKALUST. She was responsible for the still photography of XConfessions productions. Her eye for intimacy, bodies, and subtle emotion quickly became an essential part of the visual identity of the series. In 2016, Erika Lust invited her to expand her role behind the camera and direct her first erotic short film. Adriana’s artistic practice extends beyond photography. She explores painting mixed with photographic techniques, often focusing on themes of intimacy, sensuality, and the pleasures of everyday life, particularly food as a symbol of desire and connection. These interests coexist naturally with her commercial work, creating a distinctive visual language that feels both refined and deeply human. Her long-term collaboration with Erika also inspired her second photobook, Uncensored (2020), a powerful response to online censorship and the systematic erasure of erotic and intimate imagery from social platforms. The book compiles years of behind-the-scenes photographs from adult film sets, images often removed or censored online simply for portraying bodies and intimacy. Earlier, in 2021, she released Amar, a deeply personal photobook that reflects on aging, love, and midlife crisis through her relationship with her partner, Marta. Today, Adriana Eskenazi continues to balance commissioned work with independent artistic projects, using photography and film to question censorship, celebrate intimacy, and defend the legitimacy of erotic imagery as both art and documentation.

Her first collaboration in a film directed by Erika Lust came in 2015 as the still photographer on the romantic porn movie called My Moaning Neighbor, where Adriana's eye for intimacy, timing, and playful tension quickly stood out. From that moment, her visual language evolved naturally within the ERIKALUST universe, moving from documenting erotic cinema to shaping its mood and meaning from behind the camera. That evolution culminated in her directorial debut for XConfessions with Somos Solo Cuerpos, focused especially on oral sex. Stripped of excess narrative, the film is a study of pure physical connection: bodies touching, breathing, and responding without labels or performance. It marks a clear shift in Adriana’s role, from observer to author, while remaining faithful to her signature gaze. She later expanded her cinematic voice with Voyeur, a haunting, Lynchian short that explores female desire through observation and anticipation. By fragmenting perspective and centering the act of watching itself, Adriana explores voyeurism as an emotional and erotic experience.
