In the candlelit dressing room of a flamenco dancer in southern Spain, two people who shouldn't be together find each other anyway.

Cane Honey is a theatrical, deeply sensual Spanish film about adultery — the kind that arrives not as a decision but as an inevitability. Maria Riot plays an experienced flamenco dancer. Tommy Cabrio plays a younger married man. The folklore world of Andalucía wraps around them like a spell, candlelight catching the colours of a setting that feels removed from ordinary rules and ordinary consequences.

Inspired by the paintings of Julio Romero de Torres and the 70s soul of Pepe Suero's Andalucía La Que Divierte — Cane Honey is as much a love letter to Spanish pop culture as it is an explicitly passionate and intimate encounter between two people who cannot help themselves.
