Orlandos by Julia Ritschel
Orlandos is a 2021 XConfessions short movie directed by Julia Ritschel and starring KAy Garnellen and Sulema Vasquez (Drykettle). Set in a conservative 1900s society, the movie tells the story of a woman who breaks free from her restricted life to meet her forbidden lover, a trans man who shows her how to love and lust. Inspired by Virginia Woolf's pioneering queer 1928 novel, Orlando: A Biography, the first English language transgender fiction, this XConfessions indie adult movie is a love letter to all of the Orlandos who are loving outside of gender restrictions.
