Joint statement by Erika Lust Films & Hello Rooster

The conflict between Erika Lust Films and performer Hello Rooster has been peacefully resolved; both parties now hope to build a better relationship and move forward from this together. Erika Lust appreciates the contribution and co-authorship Rooster made to the Guidelines for Guest Directors to Shoot for Erika Lust and the Erika Lust Performer's Bill of Rights to help ensure the safety of everyone on set.

A professional mediation was coordinated by Dr. Marc Martin, and both parties have found mutual understanding, restorative justice and a peaceful resolution.

Both parties acknowledge and apologise for any harm suffered by each other and the community more widely, should this have affected anyone else.

Both parties appreciate and recognise each other’s work in the industry and are hopeful about their future relationship together.
