New Book: Porn For Women

I’ve just released the Spanish edition of Good Porn: A Woman's Guide, a book written by me, published by Melusina and designed by Marion Donneweg. It's already available in English and is now readable in Spanish too! You can check out more about it in Spanish at "Porno para Mujeres".

I decided to write the book, amongst other things, because the word "porn" for so many women is considered a dirty word, a taboo topic. Even though porn is prevalent in the world today, there are still so many women that are afraid of it — unsure of what exactly porn is or what constitutes “good” porn, as well as why it should matter to them. Good Porn is meant to be a women’s comprehensive guide to porn for women — what it is, what types are available to view, and why women and men enjoy different types.

In this book I examine the adult film industry, the films, the phenomenon, as well as how to make porn more accessible to women. I want to show that porn is not only for men by examining the role women play within the porn industry, from women filmmakers to the stars themselves. Within the book I address the myth that you cannot be a feminist and like porn. I also give insight into the educational and erotic value of porn and the benefits porn can bring in heightening a woman's sexual appetite.
