Cocó Maisonave | September 01, 2021 | 4 min. read

Welcome to my Fucking Playlist takeover. Each week creatives from all over the world select their top songs for, you guessed it, fucking. This week, it's Argenitian influencer Cocó Maisonave. If you like Pixies, Amy Winehouse or Nathy Peluso - this one's for you.

Parisian soul and neutrals lover, Cocó is an argentinian influencer who developed a passion for capturing and sharing the beauty of the small things of the everyday life. She finds most of her inspiration in old films and French architecture, and she creates content that communicates her vision.

"Music is a huge inspiration for me, it makes me feel free and sexy in my own body, it’s a way to express myself, to feel more confident. I love the idea of combining visual images that represent what I feel when I listen to a certain song. Music brings out a part of me that doesn’t always come out." — Cocó

The Interview

Q: Where are you from?
A: Buenos Aires, Argentina

Q: Describe your personality in 3 words:
A: Obsessive, ambitious and passionate.

Q: What makes you feel sexy?
A: Lifting heavy weights. It makes me feel strong and powerful, like there’s nothing I need to hide anymore. I feel instantly proud of every single part of my body and I own it.

Q: What's the best concert you've ever been to (and why)?
A: To 1915’s concert- not only because it’s amazing national music, but also because my best friend is the singer and guitar player of the band (proud friend here).

Q: What's your favourite part of your body?
A: I love my back, I feel it’s so subtle and sensual at the same time.

Q: What's your favourite time to listen to music?
A: In the evening, since I feel it works as an energy booster.

Q: How do you like to relax and unwind?
A: Taking my makeup off, putting some comfy clothes on, sinking myself on my bed and watching ‘Friends’ or ‘How I Met Your Mother’ for hours.

Q: What do you think is the most important quality in a lover/partner?
A: Honesty. There are so many ways of building a relationship but if there’s lack of communication and mistrust, it will never work.

Q: How do you get inspired?
A: By paying attention and keeping my eyes wide open. Inspiration can literally be found anywhere, but if we are not in the right headspace we are not going to pay much attention to the stuff that happens around us. When we take care of ourselves, when we look around us, when we are present in the moment, creativity is well fed.
