Introducing Erika Lust.
The profilic award-winning, adult filmmaker.

Tired of stereotypical mainstream pornography that ignored women’s pleasure, Erika Lust broke into the adult industry in 2004 with her first indie erotic film,
The Good Girl, a humorous take on the classic pizza boy trope.
Since that moment Erika has been leading the revolution for adult cinema that goes beyond traditional gender
roles and tired stereotypes. Her work confronts pornography that focuses on male pleasure and sexual
athletics by focusing on the eroticism of human sexuality and relationships. She refuses to typecast
performers based on their age, race, sexuality, or gender, and her movies represent a wide range of human
body shapes, identities, and sexualities.
Erika is a proponent of the female gaze and employs women behind the camera in all key positions. She has an ongoing Open Call for Guest Directors to get more women, BIPOC, and LGBTQ+ people in porn, behind the camera.
Her company Erika Lust Films follow eight core values and principles to adhere to an ethical production process, and Erika has played a key role in advocating for the importance of paying for your porn to ensure safe working conditions and fair pay for sex workers.

Erika’s work has been awarded and showcased at
festivals and awards ceremonies
all around the world. In 2015, Erika gave her
TEDx talk It’s Time for Porn to Change and in 2017 her story was featured in the Netflix documentary series
Hot Girls Wanted: Turned On.
In 2019 Erika was named as one of the BBC's 100 Most Influential Women of the Year. She also delivered a
keynote speech at the 2019 Berlin International Film Festival as part of the Berlinale Talents, titled
'Reinventing Porn: Erika's Ethics'.
Erika currently runs four online cinemas, XConfessions, Lust Cinema, Else Cinema and The Store by Erika Lust.
An online explicit magazine, Lust Zine; a sexual fantasy game for couples, XConfessions App; and a non-profit sex education tool for parents & teachers, The Porn Conversation.
