Enter the glamorous world of nail salons
Based on The Nail Salon a confession by chicago_nails
In the glamorous, melodramatic world of the nail salon, desire has never looked so immaculate.
Hazme Las Uñas is a Spanish queer fantasy soaked in Almodóvar atmospheres, exaggerated, colourful and deliciously, intentionally over the top. Director Perlita León takes hand fetish and wraps it in Spanish folklore, untamed feelings and dialogue so gloriously silly it circles back around to profound.
Salon owner Marivi (Jane Jones) and her favourite client Susi (Gia Green) have been circling each other for long enough. What unfolds between them is as romantic as it is explicit, sensual, passionate and completely committed to the bit.
Because in this world, getting your nails done is the most erotic thing imaginable. And Perlita León makes you believe every second of it.
Enter the world of director Perlita León, full of glamour, colour, lavish set designs and amazing outfits. It’s Perlita’s first time directing and I couldn’t be more impressed! Usually working with me on set as an Art Director she has flexed her directing skills and brought us a fun, romantic lesbian fantasy film.
