Sex-Positivity on a Tee, Erika Lust x Carne Bollente

We have partnered with Carne Bollente to launch a new exclusive limited-edition sustainable t-shirts collection celebrating female empowerment and sex-positivity.

Carne Bollente's tees are made of 100% organic cotton and inspired by our groundbreaking XConfessions original erotic cinema. Namely, the front of the shirt features an embroidered illustration of our short movie ASMR, The Sound of Sex. On the back, it shows one of the most iconic images from our movie Female Pleasure Circle, which challenges the stigma attached to female masturbation by showing five women taking an intimate masturbation class, along with the statement: “It’s Time for Porn to Change”.

Although sexuality has become a less taboo subject in recent years, our society still sustains gender inequality in all aspects of social life - including sex - and all industries globally - including the porn and the fashion industry. Women+ haven’t had historically the same freedom to live their sexuality as men have, and many of them still today feel ashamed to even talk about it - ending up most times knowing little to nothing about their own bodies and desires.

While looking forward to a future where all women can feel comfortable embracing and speaking out about their sexuality without shame, we joined forces with Carne Bollente to highlight the importance of women’s empowerment through their sexuality - including their relationship with porn.

The tees collection, which was exclusively tested by our team in our offices in Barcelona, will be available to purchase from June 9th on the Carne Bollente website. Together we decided to allocate 100% of the proceeds to the French NGO En Avant Toutes to support their efforts to fight for gender equality and end gender-based sexual violence. The association works mainly with young women and LGBTQIA+ people.

Carne Bollente is a Paris-based sex-positive brand launched in 2015. The brand aims to make our society more sex-positive, inclusive, and queer-friendly. Carne Bollente wants everyone to feel happy, confident, safe, and free about their sexual identity, including gender expression, orientation, relationship with their bodies, and reproductive rights. Through their creations, they seek to positively change cultural attitudes and norms around sexuality and hope to promote the recognition of different sexual identities. Every online sale is donated to a French NGO, Association de AIDES, to fight against HIV & AIDS.
