Sara Brown

Sara Brown (she/they) is a nonbinary performer, director, and writer. Their practice is built around the question of how to acknowledge human sexual power while deeply inspired by queer theories and practices. As the founder of the multidisciplinary platform IL MONSTRO, they explore human "monstrosity" and its diverse manifestations within the social fabric through performing arts. As a writer, editor, and speaker, they focus on sexual politics and gender, encouraging more porn literacy and less stigma on sex workers.
