Erika Lust is an award-winning filmmaker and the visionary behind the sex-positive, indie adult cinema that portrays sexually intelligent narratives, relatable characters, and realistic hot sex. In an industry that often fails to show an accurate representation of sex, Erika's focus on female pleasure, cinematic values, diversity, and an ethical production process has helped to change how pornography is consumed.

Between 2004 and 2013, Erika Lust became a pioneer in the world of feminist pornography. Her early career saw the cultivation of her passion for crafting authentic and empowering erotic movies. In 2004, she released her inaugural short film, The Good Girl, laying the groundwork for redefining the industry.

She launched an online platform and blog in 2006. Throughout this period, she remained dedicated to producing independent, feminist-driven content that celebrated diversity and challenged societal norms. In the years following, Erika continued on her mission to change the face of porn with her unique vision.

In 2015, Erika gave her essential TEDx talk, 'It's Time for Porn to Change'. Her story was featured in the Netflix documentary series Hot Girls Wanted: Turned On ("Women on Top"), directed by Rashida Jones, and Principles of Pleasure, directed by Niharika Desai.
