CJ Harvey is a photographer who primarily documents musicians on tour. Her work explores the intimacy and exhilaration found in live music and the moments between each show.

2. Where are you from?
I currently live in the Catskills

3. Describe your personality in 3 words:
Vulnerable, Sincere, Nurturing.

4. What makes you feel sexy?
Being naked in nature.

5 .What's the best concert you've ever been to (and why)?
The best concert I've ever seen was The Rolling Stones in Santa Clara on a day off from touring. The show had been sold out for months, but I was able to buy a nosebleed seat in the parking lot and sneak onto the floor with all of the fans who had been seeing The Stones together for decades. I've never witnessed a band more visibly excited to be playing a show together. 

6. What's your favorite part of your body?
My eyes.

7. What's your favorite time to listen to music?
Behind the wheel on a solo drive.

8. How do you like to relax and unwind?
Changing the color of my lights to fit my mood, burning some palo santo, and playing my guitar.

9. What do you think is the most important quality in a lover/partner?
Honesty!

10. How do you get inspired? 
I gather much of my inspiration on tour from observing the vulnerability of those around me. I find it all very interesting, whether it's displayed in people I'm traveling with for months at a time, or strangers I only encounter in passing.

Funeral De Um Lavrador - Chico Buarque. (Easily one of the best songs I discovered in 2020… I always find myself so captivated by the atmosphere all of these vocals create.) 


Woo Woo Woo - Naeem (A handful of old friends from Philly put out an incredible album after years of hard work, and this song always stands out to me when I listen through.)

Makeba - Jain (On my last tour before covid, I wound up DJing our afterparty in Paris and once I had played all the songs I could think of, a friend recommended adding this song to our queue. It makes me want to groove every time I hear it again.)
